Question: Cisco and Microsoft Network differences? What’s the job like?
From what I understand, Cisco Network associates would deal with the physical aspects of networking, switches, routers etc.. while a microsoft network professional might deal more with networking via software? Are these assumptions even close? What’s the difference in a days’ work with a Cisco Network guy and a Microsoft Network guy. I was more interested in the physcial aspects and hardware for networking. What would be the best route?

i’d pick the better paying one. i found that tech’s don’t know much about networking other than setting one up beyond that they fail diagnose problem’s or the knowledge to fix an issue.
