		<description>They are very different areas, and it really depends what you want to work on for your career.

If you want to work on hardware infrastructure and networking, do the Cisco certification.
If you want to work on software developing Microsoft technologies, then do the Microsoft certification.

This really will determine which path your computer career takes off in because most likely you will continue learning and working in the area you&#039;re already familiar with, although knowing both the hardware and software side is good.

If you really can&#039;t decide and don&#039;t mind either one, consider which would have the larger job market. Microsoft certifications means you would only get a job in a company that is developing Microsoft related products.
But every company needs networking.</description>
