@mrcdplay You usually get to them by logging into your router with any web browser by visiting a website with an address similar to 192.168.0.1 , but it could be different. You need to read the manual for your router. The login for your router is usually username : admin Password: admin. But, it may be different depending on your brand.
When you said “For your router settings” you never said how to get to them in the first place. So how do I get to them?????????? Someone tell me my internet is slow!!!

@vorkev1 I agree G is also cheaper. I read N is just recently taken out of Beta, and most routers are G as well since having an N adapter won’t make a G connection faster. I notice YouTube and streaming video is also kind of slow on wireless when compared to my wired Ethernet computers. Cat7a sounds great. I think you need a Gigabit router/switch and Gigabit Ethernet cards to take advantage of the speed and reliability of Cat 6-7a.

n sucks g is way better and if you are smart then you no its stupid to even buy wireless just wire your house up with cat 7a if you use wireless and have brodband you will not get the speed you need over wireless and will get interferince slowing you internet and kicking you from games and giveing lag if you play games online. now if you are just surfing the web then wifi is fine.

Using the disc that came with the router on my computer I set up my network. now my playstation,laptop and even my smartphone connects when I turn them on in the house. Its easy, save yourself the 20 bucks because you would need it to buy a router
