Basically Computers A and B are on the same network sharing a router how do you access the files on computer B from computer A? In Windows xp?

just right click on the data you want to access, for instance your documents folder>right click>properties>sharing>then change the settings to share. Do the same on both computers, then to access the data from the other computer, go to the hard drive then documents then shared documents.

Not much you can do dude – obey their rules. If they are smart parents – which it sounds like they are – they are probably logging traffic which most routers have the capability of doing.

Question: Can I set up a new wireless network off a router that is wired from a separate wireless router?
i want to set up a wifi hotspot in my room using a wireless router.
My pc is already connected to a wireless router by ethernet but cant remember the password.
So is it possible to set up another router on the network?

Yes. But even simpler would be to reset the router to it’s default settings. You can obtain the default username and password form the manufacturer’s documentation. Instructions for resetting can likely be found in those docs as well.
