Cisco Network Academy is for learning how to be a CCNA or another Cisco certification. It will not provide you with the certification or an Associates, Bachelors, or Masters degree. In short you still need to go to collage if you want to get most jobs.
Question: Thinking about Westwood College for network management. They are a member of Cisco Networking Academy Program?

My daughter took the same classes and got the same certificate from our local community college, at a fraction of the price. And her professor was a former VP for Hewlitt Packard who had retired and found retirement boring, so he returned to the workforce as a teacher.
Question: MBA in Networking after doing CCNA (Cisco certified network associate) is it a good IDEA ?
I have completed my CCNA (Cisco certified network associate) ,and i am planing to take up CCNP and CCIE in future.
Now the question is — Is it a good idea to do MBA in IT Networking through distance learning along with all the above mentioned CISCO Certification.
What i want to know is will it be of any help or will my Cisco certification and MBA would drag me to different direction ?
I want to pursue my career in Networking but wonder if only my CISCO certification can help me get a good job,in today’s world what i see is having a MBA degree is as much important as getting a graduation degree.
What should i DO ???HELP.

In my opinion, (and take it only as that), you’re better served by getting an entrance level Cisco-related job (a NOC job, for example), and working away at your certifications while building real years of experience. The sooner you can get actual Cisco-related work experience, the faster you’ll be worth something on the job market. Experience and certification are like two paddles for a row boat – if one is way bigger than the other you’re not going to get very far. A few years in plus a CCNP, and you’ll be rocking. CCNP, masters degree, and no experience, not so much.
