Question: Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional?
What exactly is the CCIP? What does it teach you? I know CCNP is the extension of CCNA but what exactly does CCIP cover?
Is it worth taking?

CCIE is the mater certification called CISCO CERTIFIED INTERNETWORK EXPERT
is the second highest certification of cisco,If you done ccna {routing and switching} + ccnp{routing and switching} you will cover 60% of the whole ccie topic,every CCIE goes like ccna ccnp then CCIE sometimes they may not be ccna ccnp certified but they directly attend CCIE,CCIE will be conduct by cisco directly in CISCO banglore india,so after CCNP work in a company under the networking field then you take CCIE cisco recommend like that so whn you are ccie you will be highly qualified
CCIE{routing and switching} CCIE{Wireless} CCIE{VOICE} CCIE{SECURITY} are the streams of CCIE these streams also having base levels like ccna ccnp,but before going to the other streams you must be thorough with routingand switching stream because it’s the base of all,if your thorough only you will be able to contine on other
The CCIP certification is a professional certification covering the end-to-end protocols used in large scale networks
So if your going for CCIP i recommend try to take the expertlevel CCIE routing and switching
when you work in a company with ccie after 5 -8 yars expereince you can go for architect level that is CCA CISCO CERTIFIED ARCHITECT is the top level certificcation of CISCO
